Robb and Josh welcome David Bingham for an exploration of design and conversational AI, from our homes, to our workplaces, to industrial settings. David is a senior experience design executive who’s held positions at GE and Workday and is currently Director of User Experience at Schneider Electric (named one of Fortune’s Most Desirable Companies four years running and deemed the world’s most sustainable company in 2021). The trio discuss the uncanny valley in conversational AI, the true shape and purpose of digital twins, and updating CRUD (adding “seek” to create, read, update, and delete).

David Bingham plays and works confidently in the worlds of interface, machines, electronics and the spaces among them. As a senior experience design executive who’s held positions at GE and Workday and is currently Director of User Experience at Schneider Electric, Bingham leads teams to understand business and user needs, map problem spaces, and align technology into compelling product experiences. David advocates for a user-centric process by which teams collaborate across disciplines to build products that empower decision-making and realize business value. He holds more than three dozen patents in product systems, smart homes and user interaction and has been featured in the Wall Street Journal and Fast Company Design.
