  1. What personally identifiable information is collected from you through the website, how it is used and with whom it may be shared.
  2. What choices are available to you regarding the use of your data.
  3. The security procedures in place to protect the misuse of your information.
  4. How you can correct any inaccuracies in the information.

Information Collection, Use, and Sharing

We are the sole owners of the information collected on this site. We only have access to/collect information that you voluntarily give us via email or other direct contact from you. We will not sell or rent this information to anyone. We will use your information to respond to you, regarding the reason you contacted us. We will not share your information with any third party outside of our organization, other than as necessary to fulfill your request, e.g. to process an order.

Orders

If you purchase content or services from us, we request information from you on our order form. To buy from us, you must provide contact information (like name and shipping address) and financial information (like credit card number, expiration date). This information is used for billing purposes and to fill your orders. If we have trouble processing an order, we’ll use this information to contact you.

Registration

Access to some of our online content is restricted. To gain access to it, a user must first complete a registration form. During registration a user is required to give contact information (such as name and e-mail address).

Email Alerts

If a user wishes to subscribe to our alerts, updates, article digests, etc. we ask for contact and delivery information such as name and email address. All of these email lists provide opt-out facilities online and with each email broadcast. In some cases the user is asked to provide optional demographic and personal interest information that is used to keep our content as relevant as possible.

Cookies

We use “cookies” on this site. A cookie is a piece of data stored on a site visitor’s hard drive to help us improve your access to our site and identify repeat visitors to our site. For instance, when we use a cookie to identify you, you would not have to log in a password more than once, thereby saving time while on our site. Cookies can also enable us to track and target the interests of our users to enhance the experience on our site. Usage of a cookie is in no way linked to any personally identifiable information on our site.

We use cookies to compile aggregate data about site traffic and site interaction so that we can offer better site experiences and tools in the future. We may contract with third-party service providers to assist us in better understanding our site visitors. These service providers are not permitted to use the information collected on our behalf except to help us conduct and improve our business.

Facebook Connect, Twitter and OAuth

You can register with our website using certain third-party social networking sites (“SNS”) (including, but not limited to, Facebook and Twitter) via our website. If you decide to create an account on our website by logging into a SNS, we will extract the personal information you have provided to the SNS (such as your “real” name, email address and other information you make publicly available via the SNS) from the account you have with such SNS and use that information to create your account on our website. The information we extract may depend on the privacy settings you have with the SNS. For example, our website allows users to create an account and login using their Facebook account credentials through Facebook Connect. If you are not currently registered on our website and you attempt to log in via Facebook Connect, you will first be asked to enter your Facebook credentials and then be given the option to register and join our website. By using registering with or logging into our website using an SNS, you are allowing us to access your SNS account information and are agreeing to the Terms of Use and privacy policies of the SNS you are using.

The information in the log files include your IP (internet protocol) address, your ISP (internet service provider, such as AOL or Shaw Cable), the browser you used to visit our site (such as Internet Explorer or Firefox), the time you visited our site and which pages you visited throughout our site.

Sharing

We share aggregated site traffic information with our partners and advertisers. This is not linked to any personal information that can identify any individual person.

We use an outside credit card processing company to bill users for goods and services. These companies do not retain, share, store or use personally identifiable information for any secondary purposes beyond filling your order.
