Currently, as Director of User Experience at <a href=”https://.siteworx.com”>Siteworx</a>, Calabro serves a diverse client base including <span class=”caps”>AOL</span>, U.S. News & World Report, National Geographic, and Coldwell Banker Commercial.
Prior to <a href=”https://.siteworx.com”>Siteworx</a>, Calabro lead and energized the design team responsible for Washingtonpost.com, including driving the user experience strategy, conducting in-depth user testing and analysis and developing user interaction models, personas, and interactive wireframes. Calabro embraced the challenge of innovating and architecting multiple products including; Jobs, Cars, Real Estate, Rentals, Classifieds, Arts and Living, City Guide, and all search products.
Calabro also organized coverage and coordinated design strategy for special projects such as “Sitewide Redesign,” “Iraqi War,” “Elections 2004,” and “D.C. Sniper Coverage” for Washingtonpost.com. His team’s unique approach to covering the D.C. Sniper story was covered as a case study in the use of multimedia and interactivity in the book, “Flash Journalism: How to Create Multimedia News Packages.”
