Amy Dobra is a principal at Vanguard and head of the Retail Client Experience Group, focusing on integrating the retail client experience across online, print and social media channels. Her cross-functional creative team includes user experience designers, information architects, writers, editors, and social media specialists. Their mission is to provide relevant, compelling, and easy-to-act-on information that will help investors achieve financial security.
Vanguard was an early fund-company entrant into social media. Amy built the social media team by leveraging existing resources to create a social media strategy and execute it. The team performs technology analysis and project management, and works with business managers and the legal and compliance groups on content.
Amy previously led Vanguard’s Institutional Web Services Group, providng strategy and implementation for several institutional sites that served plan sponsors, participants and financial advisors. Her team’s efforts resulted in numerous web awards and industry recognition for web innovation.
Amy is a graduate of Philadelphia University with a bachelor’s degree in finance and international business. She holds FINRA’s Series 6 and 63 Licenses.
