User Experience Lead , Genentech, Inc.
Expertise: Mobile Applications

BIO

For the past three years, I've been focused exclusively on designing iPhone apps for Genentech's 8000+ iPhone users. To date, I've designed 17 iPhone apps and 4 iPad apps. Designing Enterprise iOS apps has been an effective way to bypass the inflexible user interfaces of large business systems like SAP, Salesforce and PeopleSoft. Our most popular app is Peeps, used to look up employees and find a photo, location, phone, email or calendar free/busy status.

Earlier this year I was fortunate to have the opportunity to design a customized, native Salesforce iPad app for use by over 7000 sales reps globally. I travelled to Turkey, Poland, France, Italy, Germany, Spain, Switzerland and China to conduct user research with over 88 sales reps. Definitely the highlight of my career, so far.

I have over 15 years of design experience. Hands-on experience with all stages of a user-centered design process including: user research, sketching, user testing, wireframing, interaction design, visual design, branding, and promotion.
