Ishaani designs and leads the Amazon Q Developer: Transform Team. She is responsible for innovating AI-driven developer experiences to enhance productivity and streamline enterprise engineering workflows. Her work bridges the gap between industry and academia and has helped shape experiences that contribute to large-scale impact — saving engineers 4,500+ hours and unlocking $260M in annual value within Amazon. More recently, her work on agentic interactions for the new Q Developer web app was widely recognized in industry media. Techzine Global stated it ‘sets a new standard for how enterprises transition off legacy systems.’ She also writes about designing for AI and HCI, contributing to academic research as well as publishing in UX trade magazines.
