Chris Heilmann has spent the last 25 years shaping the web and helping it thrive. As a lead developer on some of the largest web products, he learned that knowledge alone isn’t enough—it takes teamwork and seamless handovers to succeed. Chris has held key roles at Yahoo, Mozilla, and Microsoft, contributing to web platforms, browsers, and developer tools. His focus is on making both code and coders more efficient. An author of several JavaScript books and The Developer Advocacy Handbook (http://developer-advocacy.com), Chris is now the Director of Developer Relations at WeAreDevelopers. He’s passionate about exploring how machine learning and AI can support humans by taking on tasks we are too valuable to perform ourselves.
