Ben Reason is a co-founder of the service design consultancy Livework, where he has spent twenty-three years expanding the practice into public services and design-led transformation. He graduated from Liverpool John Moores University in 1994 with a bachelor’s degree in fine arts and earned a master’s in Responsibility and Business Practice from the University of Bath in 2000. With experience in design and innovation at Razorfish and Oyster Partners, Ben has provided strategic guidance for organizations of all sizes, including the UK National Health Service, Ford, and Transport for London. Currently, he focuses on using design to promote ecological sustainability. He has contributed articles to the NHS’s In View magazine and been featured in the International Herald Tribune. In 2009, IKON magazine recognized him as one of its top 20 most influential designers. Additionally, Ben has taught at Goldsmiths College London, Interaction Design Institute Ivrea, and the Royal College of Art.
