Essentially, a company’s brand experience affects its customers’ overall experiences.

How they are used and their placement will influence whether you think of a product as a specific brand or something more abstract.
  • The branding style — Different brands use varying colors, graphics, and fonts that affect the user experience. For example, if you see a yellow logo with red and blue colors, you are more likely to think about a cell phone plan than cereal. If you see a classic font and logo, you may think about a cereal more than a phone plan.
  • The details of the design — If the design of your product is confusing, customers may have issues using it. For example, a smartphone can be difficult to use if the buttons are small and the design of the smartphone is complex. A confusing design can also happen when a logo is too small on a product.

  • Product functionality — Product functionality is also a factor that can affect the user experience. If a product does not function properly, it can make the whole product experience feel unfair. This is why it is important to make sure your product has the features you promised your customers.
