In this role, you will be part of SAGE’s global Online Products Team, which delivers world-class, user-focused products to the higher education / library market.  You will champion best practices in interaction design, usability testing, and user personas that contribute product development. This position is part of a team that ensures our organization utilizes new technologies and innovative development practices to deliver excellent products that respond to market needs. 

As the Product Analyst for User Experience, you will serve as the hub of expertise in how readers navigate and utilize scholarly databases and websites across platforms, including mobile and standard web. Candidates in this role should be passionately interested in SAGE’s users and will strive to learn and share relevant trends in their behaviors and attitudes, to help define the products and experiences we create. This position will lead the development of first-rate interaction designs supported by strong usability testing, collaborating with product teams to test and develop prototypes, utilizing innovative approaches and technologies as required.

Qualifications include, but not limited to, the following:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university
  • Web based product development experience
  • Research experience
  • Proven work history in a user experience role
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with confidence delivering presentations and influencing business stakeholders


  • Strong analytic and critical thinking skills
  • Experience developing and delivering wireframes and designs that meet user interaction requirements
  • Proven ability to utilize analytics to drive successful business decisions
  • Ability to effectively interface with customers, both internally and externally
