Role

To provide support to the creative studio team, Visual Production Director, development and account team. You’ll be responsible for interpreting creative concepts into elegant looking solutions and intuitive user experiences for a range of platforms and devices (including windows, ios and android). You’ll be acting as a user advocate during the development process as well as implementing your own design or liaising with the rest of the design team to complete the project. You’ll be the ‘go-to’ when it comes to best practices and standards for the entire agency.

Responsibilities

• Contributes to generating ideas to a strategy and from an objective point of view based on research and insight.• Pursues opportunities to improve to better meet client objectives (KPIs) and user objectives.• Develops information-architecture, wireframes, prototypes and user-journeys.• Works with team members to finalise streamlined user experience processes.• Produces written explanations that can be used in functional specification documents.• Acts as “go to” with in-depth knowledge of user interface best practices and standards. Use research-related services, theories and methods to support your recommendations.• Demonstrates the ability to craft design layouts on their own or in liaison with designers.• Sets up and conducts user research and works to fill usability testing needs for 1000heads clients.• Makes suggestions on possible ways to innovate and improve agency ways of working• Takes personal responsibility for on-time deliverables.

Essential Key Skills

• Competent in Illustrator, Photoshop and a wire-framing programme such as Omnigraffle or Axure.• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).• Meticulous attention to detail• Proactive: self-motivated• Team-player: flexible and challenging• Excellent eye for design and visualisation

Extra Bonus Skills

• Inspirational and visionary• Credible industry knowledge• Working knowledge of HTML and CSS

Qualifications required

• Relevant User-Experience qualification or experience• Either copywriting or design background would be beneficial but not essential
