Stone River eLearningDecember 20, 2012Great Course! This course is easy to understand and well laid out. Great for JQuery beginners.
Marko RasporDecember 14, 2012Good introduction to jQuery mobileSo, I took this course hoping to learn some basic stuff related to jQuery mobile. I can honestly say I learned a lot and more. The course introduced me not only to jQuery mobile, but to jQuery and some other javascript SDKs. I would definitely recommend this course to anyone wanting to dive into jQuery mobile. Though, html knowledge is a big plus. Why this is 4 and not 5 star review is that there are still some spelling errors in the files and the lecturer could try to explain the "advanced" code he uses in final 10 lessons a bit more (at least maybe point the user to a webpage or some other resource). Overall, very happy I took this jQuery mobile course!

Chinse TaylorMarch 17, 2012Excellent tutorial for learning jQuery MobileSid does a great job of putting this course together. The topics are well organized and his videos are easy to follow. He also provides the codes and solutions for each exercise so students can practice the concepts after watching the video. This online course is more effective than learning from a book. I would recommend this course to anyone interested in learning jQuery Mobile. Thank you Sid!
Carl StehleFebruary 25, 2012Detailed Introduction to jQuery MobileIf reference documents and web searches leave you confused and uncertain about how to use jQuery Mobile, this course will provide welcome relief, and have you writing UI code in no time. The videos, slides, and examples are well-organized, relevant, and covered in detail. And the visual learning style makes it easy to master each topic. As a bonus, many code examples are successively refined to show how to add polish. Although the course is designed for developers, project managers and others facing a maze of mobile UIs will also find it useful in understanding what jQuery Mobile does, and how it is used.
Nanette RosenJanuary 29, 2012Excellent launching pad for learning jQuery MobileThis jQuery Mobile course is well designed and easy for a professional to learn on their own schedule. It cuts straight to the main points and the course’s clear structure is extremely efficient and practical. I’d recommend this to anybody wanting to get a strong overview of jQuery Mobile. Sid’s voice is clear and pleasant to listen to, and will keep students engaged.
Dan WilsonJanuary 25, 2012Well put together jump start into JQuery MobileI'm a busy consultant and don't have time to spend coming through disparate blog posts and documentations trying to get an understanding of a new technology. I need to learn fast and get a good overall picture so I can do quality work for my clients. This course is exactly what I needed to get a practical overview of JQuery Mobile and begin work on a mobile application. Sid has done a very good job of organizing the lessons so each builds upon the last. In this course, you will learn a wide variety of subject matter so you can start building mobile applications with JQuery Mobile. The inclusion of the solution files and other assets mean you can experiment a little bit with your lesson steps and still have the intended results. The material is presented clearly and at an appropriate self-learning pace. While I usually lose interest in video based self-paced training, I found this course to be relevant and engaging, with immediately gratifying lesson exercises. I would recommend this course for any person who wanted to come up to speed quickly with JQuery Mobile.
Dan SkaggsJanuary 24, 2012Super intro to jQuery MobileSid has done a wonderful job of providing an engaging introduction to jQuery Mobile with this course. The course syllabus is well thought out and flows well from lecture to lecture. The example files that he uses to demonstrate concepts are easy to follow and are narrowly focussed on the concept that he's presenting with each one. Self-paced video training is often a chore to sit through as a student, but, in this case, I found myself immediately going to the next lecture when I finished one just to see what Sid would present next. Creating a thorough training class of this length is difficult and time-consuming. It is clearly evident by the quality of each lecture that Sid put many hours into the preparation and production of this course. I would highly recommend this course to anyone who is looking to get up to speed on jQuery Mobile.
John SlaterJanuary 17, 2012easy intro to JQMThis course is composed of many pages, all of them simple. The video makes modifications to the pages with JQM and then shows you the results. You won't get lost, everything is very simple, and when you are done you WILL be a JQM user. Sid is very careful to go over all the steps you need to get set up, as well as how to use debuggers; which could stop some viewers dead in their tracks. The course does not explain why JQM is needed, how it is implemented, or various design decisions in JQM's design. But all this is probably unimportant if your objective is to get your app running on a mobile device with JQM. - johngslater
Chuck HJanuary 21, 2012Great beginners jQuery Mobile course!Sid does a great job introducing jQuery Mobile to the student and then jumping right into it's many aspects and features. He breaks jQuery Mobile down into many tiny digestible morsels (lessons) for the students to easily follow along and learn. The videos are zoomed in at the right time to make it easy to view and follow along. This course is simple and well structured so students can easily complete it in a reasonable amount of time. I highly recommend this course to anyone that wants to learn jQuery Mobile.
Pablo Farias NavarroNovember 07, 2012Great course for both beginners and developers!
