User Experience Designer (Mobile App) -- TATA Consultancy Services
Key accountability/ responsibilities are:
As a mobile application user experience and interface designer work closely with Mobile Solution Management and Mobile Development team to enable users to do business in the most effective and efficient manner. Produce design artifacts such as sketches, wireframes, and interaction flows, prototypes, and mocks as needed to support brisk, productive cross-functional exploration, prioritization and design assessments.
Function as: Business & User Requirements Gathering, Stakeholder Workshops, Prioritization and Scoping. Designing of Mobile App User Journeys, Concept maps, Site maps / Process flows, Wireframes, Prototypes
§ Gathering end-user mobile application interface requirements
§ Design support for the development teams
§ Facilitate mobile application design sessions with involved teams
§ Development of mobile application user interface designs using various prototyping techniques and documented in mobile UI specifications
§ Verification of mobile application designs through reviews, validations and formal testing
§ Work with development, program management and usability experience research teams to translate high-level business goals into actionable mobile application user interface requirements for a series of short sprints, each one resulting in a client-facing release.
§ Communicate analysis, recommendations and potential mobile user interface design solutions through presentation, proof of concepts and documentation to customers.
§ Identify opportunities for non-project-based studies to further understand customers and to build both knowledge and reusable assets.
§ Design mobile app analytics for usage patterns and UX issues.
§ Provide thought leadership as a subject matter expert to customers.
§ Working with senior clients and senior members of staff to plan, lead and shape the solutions for opportunity defense, pre build products, client projects
§ Collecting and synthesizing business and user requirements to derive workable solutions
§ Producing quality output in tight timeframes
§ Recognize the best design ideas and be willing to modify approach for the best overall project outcome.
§ Any relevant degree.
§ At least 1 years of experience in designing and executing mobile user interface.
§ Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and spoken
§ The ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects
§ Familiarity with wire framing tools, photo editing and vector design tools, data-logging tools, knowledge of HTML5
§ Experience with consumer-facing mobile applications user interface
§ Have a consultative approach and able to provide thought leadership to clients
§ Serve a leadership role on the solution creation and delivery of a large-sized project as well as
§ Articulate, confident, comfortable in client facing roles with the ability to rapidly manage fluctuating client requirements and requests
§ Ability to create high-fidelity prototypes to rapidly explore ideas and complex interactions in the context of the overall product
§ Experience with both structured and agile development processes
