U/X Designer -- Federal Reserve Board
Ideal candidate will serve as a User Experience (UX) Designer and work closely with a small but growing team of designers and developers. Successful applicants are expected to have at least a bachelor's degree and experience in UX, information architecture (IA), human-computer interaction (HCI) or related fields. Responsibilities will cover every aspect of the design process, including user research, interaction design, wireframing, content strategy, IA, and usability testing. Candidates should have experience in, and a passion for each of these areas. A visual design background and experience with Adobe CS, Visio, or Balsamiq is also a plus. Candidates must be comfortable working with colleagues representing many different disciplines and experience levels. They should also be capable of logical thinking, problem solving, and be able to clearly articulate thoughts to design and technical staff, as well as stakeholders. Strong analytical, organization, and communication skills are required as well as an ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Candidates will be expected to submit a portfolio of design work upon request.
