Director User Experience -- Clinique
The Director User Experience (DUE)is responsible for collaborating with Creative, Technology, Ecommerce, Marketing and Consumer Engagement to create compelling, insight-driven multi-context platforms experiences. This is one of the most crucial project roles, as it requires an ability both to lead the project team through a user-centered design process to develop meaningful experience concepts, and to execute on those concepts. The DUE is an ideas person who can develop "the big idea", but who also loves getting her or his hands dirty in the process when creating intuitive interfaces and trans-formative brand experiences.
The DUE collaborates with Director of Digital Design and Executive Director of Print Design in creation of well-thought digital projects.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Lead the development of the information architecture and content strategy of transactional, informational, and marketing websites
Discover target audiences' needs, tasks, and goals and translating them into creative concepts.
In possession of excellent interpersonal communication skills, analytical and leadership skills.
Translate business requirements into meaningful interactive experiences
Lead immersive user research, concept testing, and usability testing
Develop user personas and scenarios to clarify results of user research and focus the team's design efforts on the needs of key users
Lead team in collaborative development of prototypes for demonstration of concepts to clients
Develop and document detailed user experience specifications for highly interactive interfaces
Drive User Experience thought leadership in both the company and the industry
Provide leadership, training, and mentor-ship to other Information Architects
