Sarah Martin is a UX researcher and consultant who applies user-centered-design thinking to generate creative business solutions in government and Fortune 500 environments. She has 10 years of product sales, marketing and communications experience, working notably for Philip Morris USA, Coca-Cola Bottling Company Consolidated, and the Department of Defense.
Most recently, Sarah was a Communication Researcher and Government Communication Consultant for the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, CA. She conducted strategic communication activities for Department of Defense organizations including: developing public affairs communication, congressional and agency reports, and conducting user testing to redesign website and recruiting content.
Sarah is currently earning her PhD in Technical Communication at Texas Tech University. Her research interests include user-centered design, business communication, and strategic management. Sarah is an avid traveler, and currently lives in Okinawa, Japan with her family.
