BIO

Currently, as Director of User Experience at <a href="http://www.siteworx.com">Siteworx</a>, Calabro serves a diverse client base including <span class="caps">AOL</span>, U.S. News &amp; World Report, National Geographic, and Coldwell Banker Commercial.

Prior to <a href="http://www.siteworx.com">Siteworx</a>, Calabro lead and energized the design team responsible for Washingtonpost.com, including driving the user experience strategy, conducting in-depth user testing and analysis and developing user interaction models, personas, and interactive wireframes.  Calabro embraced the challenge of innovating and architecting multiple products including; Jobs, Cars, Real Estate, Rentals, Classifieds, Arts and Living, City Guide, and all search products.

Calabro also organized coverage and coordinated design strategy for special projects such as &#8220;Sitewide Redesign,&#8221; &#8220;Iraqi War,&#8221; &#8220;Elections 2004,&#8221; and &#8220;D.C. Sniper Coverage&#8221; for Washingtonpost.com.  His team&#8217;s unique approach to covering the D.C. Sniper story was covered as a case study in the use of multimedia and interactivity in the book, &#8220;Flash Journalism: How to Create Multimedia News Packages.&#8221;
