Personally, I really don’t like the new design. It’s very jarring and for many long-term users, they will be very confused as to where everything has disappeared to.
It looks like the new design is rolling out steadily. They’ve now added the “Welcome to the new Facebook” and “Back to the old Facebook” links…
Most people should be able to acceitiss it by visng www.new.facebook.com
Personally I think it’s a major improvement over the previous version, and if there’s one thing I really appreciate it’s the greater width.
Also the navigation all of a sudden makes sense. For a site that has been out there for so long, and had such success with a huge user base, their navigation really sucked.
Now I know how to use Facebook, if not for the first time…
Enjoy it, and don’t forget to leave your feedback.
