First Shots of Blackberry's iPhone Alternative
The BlackBerry Thunder looks like it could just about give the iPhone a run for its money with multitouch, horizontal and vertical typing, and tactile response. Sounds promising.

Not at all. While the iPhone is a tremendously usable device and a revolution in many ways, many still stick to devices like Blackberry’s as they are uncomfortable with typing on-screen, tactile feedback (and Blackberry’s highly-practical UI) could tempt them to try out the Thunder. I think if anyone can build a smartphone to rival the iPhone, RIM can.
