We’ve seen various Papervision3D uses around the web. Most recently, at the Webby awards, some were even awarded. But none really had me going with the whole live 3D thing, until I saw the The Eco Zoo

The Eco Zoo doesn’t appear to use Papervision. It appears to be a custom renderer, and custom tweening engine.
I’d really like to know who the developer was (the Credits are conspicuously missing a developer/programmer credit).
Wow…Eco Zoo is way cool. I’ve never seen graphics so crisp and clear on the ‘net.
Papervision3D is all I think of. If anyone can confirm what rendering engine is used for the Eco Zoo, pls post a comment.
A good friend of mine pointed me to the Alternativa Platform, which is a direct competitor to Papervision3D... Interesting.
The illustration is by Haruna Tsukidate and Masayuki Kido was responsible for the major Flash and design work.
Kido’s site is called Roxik where he has some other fun stuff, including his own Sharikura 3d engine.
